Read this first if you have no idea what you are reading !

Priston Tale, we call it PT is one of the early 3D mmorpg coded by Koreans, released beta around year 2000. As many years passed on, The game company Yedang Online bought PT from Triglow Pictures Inc. that bought the game from the orignal authors. Again many years passed on, Yedang sold PT to another game company Masangsoft, which is still as of now.

For the international PT, it ceased operation at certain time and SUBA another game company bought it and hold the servers until now. SUBA worked with Valve and has a few games on their Steam platform, around a certain time, PT was pushed to Steam too, but it is still in Steam Greenlight until this day, meaning that it has enough player likes to go on Steam but there are issues that prevent it, we assume it's the bug-ful nature or the code difficulty to work with.

So that's the Korean and International PT, as for the private servers, we have a few like Chaospt Froggpt along the way but eventually close due to lack of players, because they have no developers and the game stays the same throughout many years including the outdated graphics, old game interface and bugs. 

Now we talk about developers, SUBA has their own game developers, but they can't work on it because they don't own the source code, they update the game according to the Korean PT. However developers on private servers are able to, it's against digital copyright law of course, but it keeps fans like us happy. All current private servers are one form or another base on the client modified by Sandurr who we suspect that he either work on the original PT or reverse engineered the codes. Some have further modified this already modified files based on their developers' own interests.

Take notes these are the English PTs, there are other servers in their own language (Chinese/Vietnamese/Brazilian etc.)

Anyway I am not here for PT history, this blog is created to post some information regarding Rpt for those who suddenly is unable to access its forum and game, and have totally no idea what's happening.
